Since RTC motto is “Equip Christian Leaders and send” Spiritual Activities including Early morning Devotion and Daily Chapel, are the spiritual hub of the college. Through these activities Students’ spirit will be nourished, grow, and develop. A balanced spiritual life includes personal prayer and devotion, regular Bible reading, church involvement, leaning to trust God, and obedience to God’s will as revealed in the Bible. All resident students have to attend all spiritual activities.
The core of the spiritual activities is the daily chapel period. College chaplain and carefully selected staff, faculty, student and guest speakers will challenge students to Christian service and personal growth. Student led chapel services provide vital ministry experience for students. Occasionally, during Spiritual Emphasis Weeks, extra time is set-aside during chapel for special guest speakers. During these times, special class schedules are sometimes used to allow additional time for services.
Every student is required to set aside time on a daily basis to connect with God in prayer. At every 6: 00 early in the morning there is an Early Morning Devotion at Chapel. The first part of the devotion is regular Bible reading, one chapter every morning. The second part of the devotion is personal prayer time. This is mandatory and attendance is taken.
